AND THE children are dying, sentenced to “death by Dengvaxia.”
There are already 14 confirmed dead children all linked to one thing they were all vaccinated with – the experimental drug Dengvaxia.
During the last months of former President Noynoy Aquino’s presidency, he launched a massive “anti-dengue” vaccination of schoolchildren through the Department of Health then headed by Secretary Janette Garin.
The result was some 800,000 schoolchildren were vaccinated with the experimental drug Dengvaxia manufactured by French pharmaceutical firm Sanofi Pasteur.
Sounds noble; for once in his entire political career (characterized by absolutely no accomplishments) Noynoy Aquino may have finally come to his senses with a P3.5-billion worth anti-dengue vaccination to save schoolchildren from that dreaded disease.
Unfortunately for everyone involved in that vaccination program, particularly the 800,000 schoolchildren, it was rather the opposite. Instead of saving them from dengue it made them more at risked to a more severe and fatal form of dengue.
Sanofi Pasteur announced that those vaccinated with Dengvaxia who have no prior bout with dengue will be highly susceptible to a more severe form of the illness.
So it came to pass that former President Noynoy Aquino, former Health secretary Janette Garin and their resident expert on “budget magic” former Budget secretary Florencio Abad sentenced 800,000 schoolchildren to “death by Dengvaxia with this state-sponsored inadvertent genocide.

PAO sees pattern on deaths of 3 kids vaccinated with Dengvaxia
The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) on Monday said it has monitored a pattern on the deaths of three children who were vaccinated with the controversial anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia.
PAO forensic consultant Erwin Erfe said they have exhumed and examined three bodies of children — Anjielica Pestilos, 10; Zandro Colite, 11; and Lenard Baldonado, 10 — who all had similar findings on their deaths.
Erfe said the deaths of the three children occurred within six months after they were administered with Dengvaxia while the other patterns included enlargement of different organs and bleeding on some parts of the body.
“Ang current count ng mga namatay allegedly because of Dengvaxia ay 19. As of yesterday, 3 na po ‘yung na-examine namin sa PAO forensic lab…humingi ng tulong sa amin ang mga magulang para ma-examine po ‘yung katawan nung namatay na bata,” he said in a press briefing.
“Sa ngayon po ay kino-collate na namin ‘yung resulta ng examination at meron kaming nakikitang pattern doon sa mga sakit na kanilang naranasan bago sila namatay,” Erfe added.
Erfe said they are studying the patterns they have discovered and will include it on the possible case the PAO will file regarding Dengvaxia.
The Department of Health had already formed an expert panel of doctors from the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital who will review the cases of the 14 children administered with Dengvaxia to see if their deaths were related to the vaccine.
Why was the vaccination rushed? The term of Noynoy Aquino was about to end, it’s not that there was a dengue epidemic; there was nothing of that sort.
The Department of Health had no more budget to purchase P3.5-billion worth of Dengvaxia from Sanofi Pasteur but in record time “magic man” Budget secretary Florencio Abad came out with that amount, hijacking a retirement fund intended for government workers.
Lo and behold, two months before the 2016 presidential elections the vaccination was launched with a smiling Health secretary Janette Garin vaccinating a school kid with President Noynoy Aquino and his silly grin in the background.

DOH confirms dengue deaths after taking Dengvaxia
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) yesterday confirmed that the deaths of 14 children vaccinated with the anti-dengue vaccine were mostly due to dengue.
Health secretary Francisco Duque III revealed that findings of forensic experts of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) indicated that dengue shock syndrome led to the deaths of most of the children.
“PAO exhumed the bodies of the children and, so far, the indication is that their deaths were consistent with dengue shock syndrome,” he pointed out.
He added that experts from the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) are also checking the clinical records of the children.
At a forum of the Pampanga Press Club at Clark Freeport yesterday, DOH regional officers also reported a rise in the number of children who have fallen ill since receiving Dengvaxia.
Cindy Canlas, DOH regional chief for communicable and other diseases, said the cases rose from 52 to 170 in Central Luzon since December.
“Most of them are 10 to 14 years old and a majority are females,” she said, adding that “164 cases or 96.5 percent were vaccinated with three doses of the anti-dengue vaccine.”
She noted that the DOH started monitoring the Dengvaxia-vaccinated children in December last year, following the admission of vaccine manufacturer Sanofi Pasteur that the vaccine could lead to severe cases for those without any history of dengue.
The death toll is rising. Children are dying. And unlike that 13,000 supposedly EJK victims, these children are not nameless, imaginary numbers conjured by Rappler. They are real.
