BACOLOD City – Bar personnel filed a complaint against one of their customers who failed to pay for the food and drinks he ordered in a hotel along San Juan Street in the city.
Officers from Police Station 1 arrested the 33-year-old Jay-R Gonzales of Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo on Jan. 19, a police report showed.
That day, Gonzales ordered 10 bottles of beer and lechon kawali from the staff of the hotel bar.
His bill amounted to P830, the bar staffers said.
Gonzales said he had no money to pay for what he ordered, according to the police.
Gonzales was detained at the Police Station 1 lockup facility./PN
