ILOILO City – Accused of illegal gambling, two residents of Barangay San Jose, San Miguel, Iloilo were arrested at the Jaro Plaza.
Joel Rivera and James Estimo, both 34 years old, were facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602.
Officers caught them engaged in the game “roleta” at around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 18, a police report showed.
Cash worth P2,560 and paraphernalia for the number-color game were seized from them.
Rivera and Estimo were detained at the Jaro police station./PN
