MANILA – Generika-Ayala Lifesavers of Philippine Superliga will test the mettle of the Central Philippine University-Western Visayas selection in an exhibition match today at the Civic Center in Bingawan, Iloilo.
The match will be held at 3 p.m. after another exhibition game between secondary girls volleyball squads from Bingawan and Passi City at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
Lifesavers will comprise Bingawan-native Fiola Ceballos, Negrense Patty Jane Orendain, Carol Cervesa, Angeli Araneta, Mikaela Lopez, Rubie de Leon, Yvonne Reyes, and returning imports Katarina Pilepic of Croatia and Darlene Ramdin of United States.
Sherwin Meneses, who was recently signed to replace Francis Vicente, will mentor Lifesavers along with assistant coach Parley Tupaz and team manager Allyn Sta. Maria./PN
