ILOILO City – Accused of punching a sleeping neighbor, a resident of Barangay Gustilo, La Paz district has been arrested.
The 39-year-old Marte Tabia was detained at the district police station.
Gabriel Cavana, 47, reported to the police that he was sleeping at a waiting shed at around 8 a.m. on Feb. 1 when Tabia attacked him. He did not know why.
Cavana sustained a contusion on the left cheek, a police report stated.
With the help of barangay tanod Franco Nagallo, Cavana placed Tabia under citizen’s arrest and turned him over to the La Paz police station./PN
