BACOLOD City – A woman had attempted to kill herself yesterday in Barangay Poblacion, San Enrique, Negros Occidental.
San Enrique police identified her as the 21-year-old Rizalyn Galve of Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City.
According to the police, Galve had a heated argument with her live-in partner.
Her live-in partner – whose name the police withheld – covered Galve’s mouth to avoid scandal.
That was when Galve stabbed herself repeatedly on the stomach using a knife.
Galve was brought to the Valladolid District Hospital where she was currently under treatment, police said./PN
