Social Security System (SSS) members may now get their Personal Reference Number (PRN) by calling the SSS PRN Helpline at 920-6446 to 55 or local Toll-free Hotline 1-800-10-2255-777 anytime from Mondays to Fridays. The SSS has recently announced the mandatory use of PRNs in the payment of membersā contributions in line with the implementation of the Real-time Posting of Contribution Payments (RTPC) project.
SSS members may also get their PRNs from the nearest SSS branch or e-mail their requests and related inquiries to PRNHelpline@sss.gov.ph. PRNs are also generated in the My.SSS account of the member.
Launched on Jan. 16, the RTPC is the instant validation, transmission and acknowledgement of SSS contribution data between the payment facility and the SSS system, and subsequently, the posting to a memberās contribution record. All employers and individually-paying members like self-employed, non-working spouses, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and voluntary members have to register in the My.SSS facility in the SSS website (www.sss.gov.ph) to update their SSS data for the issuance of PRNs./PN
