BACOLOD City — The Social Security System (SSS) here has made the transactions of its members efficient and convenient with the installation of self-service terminal machines.
Assistant Vice President Manolito Tagalog of SSS Region 6 said with the arrival of the machines, members no longer have to go to the counter to process their transactions.
Tagalog said members can verify their membership, contributions, and submission of loans and benefits through the self-service terminal machine with the use of their SSS or Unified Multi-Purpose identification cards.
He added pensioners can also process their annual confirmation through the machine.
Tagalog hopes that with the arrival of this technology, the SSS office will no longer be crowded.
There are four self-service terminal machines in SSS Bacolod, while one machine is installed in each SSS office in the cities of Bago, Kabankalan, San Carlos, Sagay, Victorias, Bais, and Dumaguete.
Tagalog said another machine will be installed in the SSS Lopues East branch here next month./PN
