SAN JOSE, Antique – Representatives from Central Luzon and Bicol were declared Mr. and Ms. National SCUAA (State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association) 2018, respectively.
Kristian Charlz Escaño and Joyce Anne Magpantay bagged the titles during the pageant’s coronation night on Monday at the University of Antique Cultural Center.
The male runners-up were Mark Jefferson Valerio from the National Capital Region (1st), Kevin Leigh Zulueta from Western Visayas (2nd), Bryn Nicko Atchuela from Cagayan Valley (3rd), and Sere Lyxes Denverboy Sim from Eastern Visayas (4th).
The female runners-up, on the other hand, were Geri Franchesca Camargo from Central Luzon (1st), Caitlyn Elizabeth McGinnis from Eastern Visayas (2nd), Danielle Andreah Boehm from the National Capital Region (3rd), and Lourdes Hazel Bibit from Southern Tagalog (4th).
The pageant is one of the highlights of the ongoing National SCUAA Olympics, which started on Feb. 18./PN
