Cop relieved for stealing motorcycle

BACOLOD City — A policeman was relieved after allegedly stealing his colleague’s motorcycle.

Inspector Stephen Boniba, Police Station 2 chief, relieved Police Officer 1 Wilfredo Casuyon and reassigned him to the Bacolod City Police Office headquarters on Thursday.

Casuyon allegedly stole the motorcycle of Police Officer 1 Raffy Gregorio, 26, of Barangay 16 here on Sept. 11.

Gregorio’s motorcycle was last seen parked outside Police Station 2 on Lacson Street.

Six days after it was reported missing, the motorcycle was spotted along Purok Cereza, Barangay 22 here with two women riding in tandem.

Police operatives flagged the women down and identified them as Grace Teruel of Barangay 40 and Mylene Singson of Barangay 3 here.

Teruel said she was Casuyon’s live-in partner.

The two women were detained in the Police Station 2 lockup cell./PN
