ILOILO City – A barangay tanod fled from his house after learning that he had been reported to the police by his three young daughters for rape.

The village watchman was a resident of Passi City.

According to Chief Inspector Norberto Delmas, Passi City police chief, the mother herself accompanied her three daughters to the police station last week.

The daughters aged 14, 13 and 11 years old. They told the police the rape had been going on since last year.

The eldest of the three daughters is pregnant, according to Delmas.

The mother discovered the abuse when she took her eldest daughter to the doctor.

“If he is not guilty he should not have left their house,” said Delmas about the barangay tanod.

The suspect’s whereabouts remained unknown as of yesterday./PN
