4 suspects fall in drug busts

BACOLOD City — Four drug suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in the cities of Sagay and Bago, and in the towns of La Castellana and Pulupandan.

Superintendent Jose Edel Manzano, Sagay City police chief, said they arrested Rolly Antoneso Golez, 40, of Barangay Poblacion.

Seized from Golez were 46 heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu, two empty plastic sachets with traces of suspected shabu, a cellular phone, and live ammunitions of .38, .375 and .22 caliber firearms.

In another buy bust operation in Bago City, Superintendent Arnel Arpon said Roel Roquiz of Barangay Bagroy was nabbed after handing a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer on Sept. 17.

Bago City police confiscated three sachets of suspected shabu and disposable lighters from Arpon.

In La Castellana town, police also nabbed Dominic Martinez, 24, of Barangay Robles after handing two sachets of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer, said Senior Inspector Ruben Pajarito, La Castellana police chief.

In another buy bust operation, Henry Advincular Jr., 36, of Barangay Zone 2, Pulupandan was arrested after selling a sachet of shabu for P400.

Senior Inspector Allan Roloj of Pulupandan said Advincula had been under their surveillance for quite some time./PN
