BACOLOD City – Two men were charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The 37-year-old Renold de Guzman of Barangay Zone 3, Murcia, Negros Occidental and resident Freddie Marañon were arrested around 8:15 p.m. on Thursday in Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Officers from the Bago City Police Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated from de Guzman and Marañon’s possession three sachets of shabu worth some P6,750, drug paraphernalia, a Lenovo cellphone, and P500 cash.
De Guzman and Marañon were detained at the Bago City police station custodial facility./PN
