ILOILO City – A 61-year-old man from Sacred Heart Subdivision in Barangay Hibao-an Sur, Mandurriao district faces alarm and scandal and oral defamation charges.
Serafin Go was accused of railing against a neighbor, 62-year-old Norma Modesto, a police report showed.
Go was detained at the Mandurriao police station.
Go went in front of her house at around 10 p.m. on March 14 and shouted at the top of his voice, calling her “crazy” and claiming that her husband Rodey “left” her for having “smelly genitals,” Modesto reported to the police.
It was not immediately clear why Go would allegedly verbally attack Modesto.
Village councilwoman Jocelyn Landoy tried to calm him down but Go continued to berate her, Modesto said.
Modesto and Landoy placed him under citizen arrest and turned him over to the Mandurriao police station with the help of officers on patrol, the police report stated./PN
