BACOLOD City – Five drug suspects were nabbed while having a “pot session” in Zone 4, Barangay Looc, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
They were Jimmy Barotes of Barangay Magtuaw, Tayasan, Negros Oriental; Jonathan Ramirez of Barangay Jugno, Amlan, Negros Oriental; Prince John Transmonte of Sibulan, Negros Oriental; and Tanjay City, Negros Oriental residents Reniel Lee Rada (Barangay Palanas) and Jose Dante Mansole Jr. (Barangay Obogon), a police report showed.
The Dumaguete City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Senior Inspector Ian Paul Arapols staged the arrest around 12:40 a.m. on Thursday.
The suspects were detained at the Dumaguete police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
