ILOIILO City – A 25-year-old man cradling his five-month-old baby felt helpless while being assaulted by a belligerent neighbor.
According to Felix Oplar of Barangay Salvacion Habog-habog, Molo district, foremost in his mind that time was his baby’s safety.
The attack happened around 7 a.m. on Sunday at his house’s backyard, said Oplar. He identified the neighbor as Edgardo Dela Cruz Jr.
The suspect struck him with a stone on the nose, said Oplar.
Dela Cruz also punched him several times, the complainant reported to the Molo police station.
Luckily, other family members arrived and drove Dela Cruz away, said Oplar./PN
