ROXAS City – No one tested positive after the “surprise” drug tests conducted on 140 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO).
This was according to CPPO director Senior Superintendent Samuel Nacion after he got initial information from the Police Regional Office 6.
Nacion said he has yet to get a copy of the results, which were based on the drug tests conducted on March 24.
The CPPO head said his personnel served as “role models for testing negative of illegal substance.”
The tests were part of the “internal cleansing” measures of the CPPO, Nacion earlier said.
“This is to ensure that no member of the CPPO is using illegal drugs,” he has stressed.
The drug tests will also be conducted in all 16 police stations across Capiz./PN
