ILOILO City – Roy Frondoza, 36, was arrested and detained at the custodial facility of the Jaro police station.
A resident of Barangay Carida, Tapaz, Capiz, he was accused of punching his sister, a resident of Barangay Lanit, Jaro district.
The 43-year-old Ruthchel Frondoza-Tombis reported to the police that a drunken Frondoza was acting unruly at the wake of their mother in Barangay Lanit at around 10:45 p.m. on April 3.
Tombis said she reprimanded Frondoza, telling him not to drink intoxicating liquor at the wake, but the latter got angry, shouted at her, “Gaga ka indi ako pagsinggiti (Don’t you yell at me, you bitch),” and punched her on the forehead.
Tombis placed her brother under citizen arrest and turned him over to the Jaro police station with the help of an officer, a police report showed./PN
