BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth some P50,000 was confiscated from a man in Barangay 3, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) spot report showed.
Arnel Sabidong, a suspected HVT-Ramos drug group member, was caught after selling shabu to an undercover officer along Osmeña Street around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, the report further stated.
PDEA agents and officers from the Hinigaran municipal police station recovered from Sabidong about 10 grams of suspected shabu contained in five plastic sachets.
Sabidong was detained at the municipal police station’s lockup facility.
He was facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (With Ian Paul Cordero/PN)
