BACOLOD City – A man was found floating in a river in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, police said. He was believed to have drowned.
The 37-year-old Joven Cabading of Tigbauan, Iloilo was rescued and rushed to the Talisay City Health Center around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
But attending physician Dr. Josabel Macote pronounced him “dead on arrival,” a police report showed.
Cabading was binge drinking with friends Jan Mark Quilaton, 30, of Barangay Estefania and Gildo Serencio, 44, of Barangay Villamonte when the incident happened, said the police.
Cabding’s body was brought to the Holy Angels Funeral Homes in Bacolod City.
