FILIPINOS are undeniably good singers as evident on the world-class singers our country has produced. The awe-inspiring vocal performances rendered by numerous Filipino talents opened the gates to infinite possibilities.
Just recently, another random girl who was belting out Celine Dion’s hit “All By Myself” in the mall made its rounds over the social media, making her an overnight Internet sensational diva. Being the instant star that she is right now, her video has gone viral, earning thousands of likes, shares and views on various social media platforms.
The latest superstar was identified Paullette Cambronero. In the video, she is seen perfectly nailing sky-high notes with much gusto and confidence. However, before starting to sing, other mall-goers don’t seem to mind her until she unleashed her before caged musical prowess.
The viral video was uploaded in video sharing site YouTube in 2009 by user krisreandrea. It was shared by “Hayop sa Galing” Facebook fan page in 2013 and became a hit once again as it was shared by thousands of amazed netizens.
Four years since the upload was committed, it seems like the talented singer in the video has already achieved her dream.
Fast forward to 2014, she no longer sings in front of a videoke machine in the mall. Rather, she has already made an album of her own. The realization of her dream became a reality when she was hailed the first grand winner of a singing talent search of a radio station.
Part of her prize was a recording contract with a recording company which eventually paved her way into becoming a legit recording artist.
Some of the songs featured in her album were her own renditions of popular songs “Pagsubok,” “Umiiyak ang Puso” and “Muli.”
Indeed, one can say that Paulette is a testimony of dreams coming true. With her talent on her sleeves, she undoubtedly deserves whatever she is reaping right now./PN
