ROXAS City – A charcoal vendor was arrested in Barangay Parian, Sigma, Capiz for violating Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
The 50-year-old resident Reynaldo Patiño was caught around 4:50 a.m. on Wednesday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Judith Orendain-Tonogbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 20 issued on April 17, a police report showed.
Officers from the municipal police station recovered from Patiño’s bedroom a bullet of a .38-caliber gun, six bullets of a .22-caliber gun and three holsters.
