ILOILO City – A woman was arrested in an antidrug operation in Hacienda Fe, Barangay Sambag, Zarraga, Iloilo.
Nine plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized from the 58-year-old villager Myrna Braga, a police report showed.
A poseur buyer bought from her three sachets of the substance for P5,200 (buy-bust money) at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Six packs of the same substance were found in a medicine bag seized from her, police said. She also yielded a black Lenovo cellphone.
The Zarraga police took the suspect in custody.
Braga faces charges for violation of sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Operatives from the Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Intelligence Branch and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), and the Zarraga police station staged the buy-bust.
