ILOILO City – Policemen in Passi City, Iloilo province arrested a man who stabbed his brother.
The 44-year-old Genry Decin was detained at the Passi City police station lockup cell hours after attacking younger brother Jarry in their house in Barangay Jaguimitan.
Jarry died of a stab wound on the stomach at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
The stabbing happened on Monday at around 7:30 p.m. The Decins were on a drinking binge with another sibling, Jardiniano, 46.
From what the police so far gathered, Jarry chided Genry, who had an ailment, for drinking.
This angered Genry and a dispute ensued.
Knife was used on Jarry.
Genry ran away after the stabbing but was eventually caught by policemen./PN
