ILOILO City – Two illegal gambling suspects were arrested on Saligumba Street, Passi City on Monday.
Residents Allan Jaruda, 46, and Pacifico Poticar, 38, were detained at the custodial facility of the Passi City police station.
Officers caught them soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies” 1:30 p.m., a police report showed.
Bet money worth P2,420, a calculator, two ball pens, and paper sheets with numbers written on them, police said.
