ILOILO City – A 19-year-old man was arrested for trying to steal items from a motor shop, a police report showed.
The security guard of Domescon Motor Sales in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district caught Ivan Venuza, a resident of Zone 3, Barangay San Juan, Molo.
Security guard Joebert Pamolis told the police he was making rounds at the establishment at 1:35 p.m. on Monday when he found Venuza taking four hydraulic jacks and assorted tools, and placing them in a cement sack.
Pamolis placed Venuza under citizen arrest and turned him over to the Mandurriao police.
Venuza was currently detained at the police station’s custodial facility./PN
