ILOILO City – A search of a man’s house led to the recovery of a firearm and an empty shell, a police report showed.
The owner of the house, 29-year-old Bengie Argonia, was arrested.
He did not have the pertinent documents proving his legal ownership of the weapon, police said.
Argonia faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Wielding a search warrant, police swooped down on his house in Barangay San Enrique, San Lorenzo, Guimaras on Tuesday. They seized a 12-gauge shotgun and an empty shell.
