ILOILO City – Road closures will be observed in the island province of Guimaras during this year’s Manggahan Festival.
The festival will start today and will end on 22.
From 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. today, the road stretching from the Guimaras Police Provincial Office in Barangay Alaguisoc, Jordan to rotonda in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan will be closed to motorists.
From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on May 19, the road from the Hog Cocker’s Trading (new site) to rotonda in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan will be closed.
The same road will be closed from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 20.
The road from Gaitan Island Supermart to Department of Public Works and Highways in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan will also be closed on May 22.
The road closures will be observed to pave the way for some festival activities, such as the street dancing competition, invitation cultural presentations and a parade
