BACOLOD City – He was delivering his campaign message in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental when he died, police said.
The 56-year old resident Edwin Jalwin – who was running for village councilman – had a cardiac arrest around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, added the police.
He was brought to the Our Lady of Mercy Specialty Hospital in Bacolod City where he was declared dead./PN
