ILOILO City – In Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district, a tricycle driver was arrested in an antidrug operation on Thursday.
Detained at the Mandurriao police station at 9:30 a.m. was Elrey Roberto, 40, of the same barangay.
Roberto allegedly sold a sachet of shabu worth P600 to an undercover police officer. Six more sachets of the same substance were seized from him.
Chief Inspector Juvy Navales, Mandurriao police head, said they consider Roberto a “newly identified drug pushing suspect.”
Citing intelligence information, Navales said the suspect gets shabu supply from Bacolod City./PN
