BACOLOD City – Police served a man with an arrest warrant in Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The man was identified as the 43-year-old Joel Restauro of Barnagy Codcod, San Carlos City, a police report showed.
Restauro was nabbed for allegedly violating Presidential Decree 1866, which codifies the laws on illegal possession, manufacture, dealing in, acquisition or disposition, of firearms, ammunition or explosives or instruments used in the manufacture of firearms, ammunition or explosives.
Restaro was detained at the San Carlos City police station after his arrest around 7 p.m. on Friday.
A P200,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty, police said./PN
