ILOILO City – A 19-year-old resident of Barangay Dulonan, Arevalo district complained to the police that he was punched on the head.
Jerry Kervy Hechanova identified his attacker as the 25-year-old CJ Cava of Barangay Quezon, Arevalo.
The alleged attack happened in Barangay Dulonan on Sunday, a police report showed.
Hechanova was watching and cheering at a basketball game when an angry Cava punched him, he told the police.
Cava then left the court and threatened Hechanova, saying, “Buk-on ko karon ang ulo mo,” the complainant said.
Cava cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
In the same district, a resident of Barangay Santa Felomina told the police a neighbor punched him.
The 30-year-old Richie Gamarcha was hit on the left eye and mouth. He identified his attacker as the 36-year-old Roel Robles.
Robles was drunk when he attacked Gamarcha in Barangay Santa Felomina at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, said the complainant.
Iloilo City Emergency Response team personnel applied first aid treatment on Gamarcha and told him to get himself checked in a hospital.
