Ilonggo John Franz de Asis claimed the second place with 4.5 points despite tying with four others – Liuven Buya (Benguet), Henry Lopez (Davao City), John Matugas (Surigao), and Ezechias Francisco (Taguig) – due to higher tie break.
Also making it to top 10 were Francisco de los Santos (Zamboanga City), Felix Aguilera (Manila), Edwin Nuguid (Pampanga), and Max Dave Teller (Masbate) with 4 points each.
Another Western Visayas-based player – Arnel Amar of Antique – finished in 15th place with just 3 points on three victories and three defeats.

The event was organized by the Philippine Sports Association for Disabled Athletes with the support of the Philippine Sports Commission and the Marikina City government.
“The PSC always welcomes the opportunity in staging the PSC-Philspada National Para Games because this competition provides our disabled athletes a venue where they can showcase their sports skills and talents,” said PSC Commissioner Arnold Agustin./PN
