ILOILO City – Police arrested a woman accused of issuing “bouncing” checks.
Jenny Tiu of Ledesma Street, City Proper was charged with five counts of violation of Batas Pambansa 22, a police report showed.
Police Station 1 officers served her a warrant of arrest on General Luna Street, City Proper at 9 a.m. on Monday before taking her to their station.
Judge Jennifer Pepito Maniwang of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities issued the warrant, the police report stated.
The court set the bail bond for her temporary liberty at P33,000./PN
