High-value drug suspect nabbed

BACOLOD City – Seven sachets containing suspected shabu worth about P84,000 were recovered from a high-value drug target in Taytay Tanulo, Barangay Pilar, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.

The 40-year-old resident Alcher Osilleva was caught after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, the report further stated.

Police also confiscated a cellular phone from Osilleva, who is a suspected member of the Ramos drug group.

Osilleva was detained at the Hinigaran municipal police station lockup facility.

He  was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Joint elements from the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit and Provincial Intelligence Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Hinigaran police station staged the sting operation./PN
