BACOLOD City – Three persons were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Sacred Heart, Barangay Zone 4, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified them as live-in partners and Cadiz City residents Romeo Cayapado, 44, and 42-year-old Jocelyn Gonzales, and the 38-year-old Jocelyn Salutong of Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
They were caught around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Recovered from their possession were three sachets of suspected shabu including the buy-bust item, drug paraphernalia, a cellphone, and the P500 marked money.
Cayapado, Gonzales and Salutong were detained at the Cadiz City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
