ILOILO City – Two unidentified men conspired to steal a mobile phone from a cellphone accessories store, the store’s attendants told the police.
ALCHS Cellphone Accessories lost a company mobile phone – a Vivo V9 worth P17,990 – to thieves, salesladies Florie May Francisco and Christine Joy Cabayles said.
The salesladies told the police that they saw how the incident unfolded from a footage captured by their store’s security camera.
The company phone was placed on top of the store’s display rack in 1688 Mall in Barangay Kauswagan, City Proper before it went missing at around 9:46 a.m. on May 30, a police report showed.
Two men entered the store and pretended to be customers, Francisco and Cabayles told the police.
While Francisco was busy attending to one of the men (clad in a striped shirt and white cap), the other (wearing a black shirt with tribal design, a cap and a face mask) took the phone, a police report showed.
Police have yet to identify and catch the suspects as of this writing. (April Grace R. Padilla, Intern/PN)
