ILOILO City – Police are looking into the death of a 15-year-old boy in Barangay PD Monfort North, Dumangas, Iloilo.
Mark Mamon, a helper of an ice dealer, was found dead in the house of his employer at around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.
A rope was tied around his neck when employer Adelena Demetita found him at the receiving area of her house, said an investigator for the Dumangas police station, Josebel Doromal.
Police were still trying to determine if the death of Mamon, a resident of Barangay Panuran, Lambunao, Iloilo, was suicide or murder.
Initial investigation showed the boy asked permission to go home but did not make it to Lambunao.
