ILOILO City – A 66-year-old mother in Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district asked policemen to detain her son.
According to Edna Sarmiento, son Randell John, 28, was drunk and unruly.
Around midnight on June 6, Sarmiento said, Randell John became uncontrollable and jumped out of their house’s window.
Worried that her son would further hurt himself, the mother sought the help of the La Paz police station.
Randell John sustained wounds on his upper lips and knees.
