ILOILO City – A retired government employee from Barangay Lanit, Jaro district reported to the police that a carpenter attacked her.
Evangeline Pablo, 65, sustained scratches on the right side of her head and right shoulder, a police report showed.
Her daughter Kresta Mae, 42, and carpenter Dunhill Colombres had a fight in their house at around 6 p.m. on June 7, said Pablo, a resident of Block 14, Iloilo River Plains Subdivision.
She was trying to pacify her daughter when Colombres, also a resident of Barangay Lanit, struck her with a stick, Pablo told the Jaro police.
Police advised Pablo to get herself checked at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district. (Mariane Camell Braseliño, Intern/PN)
