ILOILO City – A 21-year-old jeepney “barker” was caught in an antidrug operation on Arroyo Street, City Proper.
Reynald John Bayona of Barangay Libertad, Lapuz district was taken to Police Station 1.
Officers arrested Bayona when the latter sold to a poseur buyer a sachet of shabu for P600 at 1:45 a.m. on June 11.
Five more sachets of the same substance were seized from him, a police report showed.
Citing intelligence information, Superintendent Jonathan Pablito, Police Station 1 chief, said Bayona supplied illegal drugs in Boracay but went home to peddle drugs when the island resort was closed on April 26./PN
