BACOLOD City – Two men were arrested inside the Bacolod North Public Cemetery in Barangay Villamonte.
The men were using and selling illegal drugs there, according to the police.
They were the 46-year-old Jessi de Nicolas and 45-year-old Rante Rusiana, residents of the village, a police report showed.
De Nicolas and Rusiana had been using a mausoleum at the cemetery for their illegal drug activities, said Police Officer 2 Vicente Pabuaya of Police Station 4.
The suspects were caught after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer on Tuesday.
Recovered from their possession were several sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia, police said.
They were detained at the Police Station 4 lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
