BACOLOD City – Three unidentified persons took his money, personal belongings and important documents, a Jamaican man told the police in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
The 65-year-old Smithville, Jamaica resident Desmond Tachy was found wandering at Bianes Beach in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra around 10 a.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Tachy was brought to the municipal police station and told the officers there that he was robbed three days ago in Bacolod City.
Since then he has been wandering until we was picked up by the police.
Among those that the robbers carted away from him were his passport, automated teller machine card, identification card, clothing, and 7,000 US dollars, police said.
Tachy was brought to the Pontevedra Rural Health Unit for a medical checkup. He was later brought to the Bureau of Immigration.
Police were still identifying and locating the suspects./PN
