BACOLOD City ā The No. 8 top drug personality in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental was arrested in a sting operation, a police report showed.
San Carlos City police head Superintendent Dā Artagnan Katalbas Jr. identified him as the 40-year-old Alberto Negapatan of Barangay 6, San Carlos City.
Negapatan was caught around 11 a.m. on Saturday along Ylagan Street in Barangay 6 after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P300, the report stated.
Recovered from his possession were two sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 6 grams valued at around P70,000, drug paraphernalia, two cellphones, P1,400 cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions, and the marked money.
Negapatan was detained at the San Carlos City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
