BACOLOD City – He was arrested for collecting bets for an illegal numbers game in Barangay 2, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The 19-year-old Carlito Ilagan Jr. of Barangay San Jose, Sipalay City was nabbed on Monday, a police report showed.
Ilagan was a collector for the numbers games locally called jai-alai, the report further stated.
Recovered from his possession were P269 gambling money and gambling paraphernalia.
Police also confiscated Ilagan’s motorcycle.
Ilagan was detained at the Sipalay City police station lockup facility./PN
