ILOILO City – In Barangay Villa Panian, Estancia, Iloilo, a 44-year-old resident was arrested.
Bimbo Danao was illegally possessing a firearm, according to the police.
Armed with a court-issued warrant, the Estancia police searched the house of Danao at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The officers found a .45 pistol, five live ammunition and a holster.
Danao did not have a license to own and possess the firearm, police said.
The resident was taken to the Estancia police station after his arrest./PN
