BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were caught in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok 4, Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
The 29-year-old Melvin Talita of Barangay Mabini, Escalante City, Negros Occidental and resident Jesryl Lingamen were detained and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Talita and Lingamen were caught after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500 on June 28.
When frisked, the suspects yielded five more sachets containing the same substance.
Drug paraphernalia were recovered from them, too, according to the police./PN
