BACOLOD City – The motorcycle he was riding crashed against another motorcycle in Barangay Masulog 2, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
The 42-year-old resident and back rider Eddie Marata was killed in the crash, a police report showed.
Marata was on board a motorcycle that his 29-year-old brother Marlon was driving around 4 p.m. on June 28 when the crash happened, the report further stated.
Marata sustained head injuries and was rushed to the town’s Rural Health Unit where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
Marlon also sustained injuries but survived.
The driver of the other motorcycle was identified as the 37-year-old Bonifacio Rafols , who also sustained injuries./PN
