BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu worth some P180,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected illegal drugs were confiscated from the 44-year-old resident Darwin Abellar, a police report showed.
Abellar was caught after selling suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P2,500 at Antonio Luna Interior around 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Recovered from Abellar’s possession were 10 sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Abellar was detained at the Silay City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
