ILOILO City – Illegal drug selling and possession charges may be slapped against a resident of Barangay San Juan, Molo district.
The 35-year-old Erwil Ureta was arrested in a sting operation the police staged in Barangay Santo Niño, Arevalo.
Four plastic packs of shabu were seized from him, a police report showed.
These were on top of one sachet of the same substance that he sold to an undercover officer for P1,100 at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, police said.
Ureta faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
He was detained in the custodial facility of the Arevalo police station./PN
